imo that would be lame if you want a scaler get a honcho ?? i mean you could only really use the axles and gearbox.........youd have to braze up a good frame so i guess if you were gonna go that route ...........again just my oppinion no offense

The downside would be the shorter run times. Certain things can be compromised with a scaler and normal ring and pinion type axles are the axle of choice.

Go for it if you want, you will just want to pack LOTS of batteries.

Yes it's possible, here's a link to a rig one of the local guys built

http://warcrc.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=7260

At least 2 more warcrc members are planning builds along this route.

Ran fairly well on sunday

I built one about three months ago. BB-51 chassis with some tube work. 1.9 Rok Lox and a brushless system will get you around 30-45 min of runtime. Three packs and you'll have a great day out crawling.

I also have a winch, front and rear dig, and in the process of rear steering for the Pro-Mod class we started here in Colorado.

I just picked up some spare LCC axels and parts to use for a scale build. Still trying to decide if I want to do 1.9 or 2.2? I think a friend is bringing me a LNC trans tomorrow night.

I'm pretty sure it's a classic and no longer in production. PM Unimoger, he may have some laying around the MSD shop.

I would run the 1.9. less stress on the drivetrain. I still run the V2 CVD's and have not broken one yet with dig and all the brushless power. With the correct V3 CVD's it would take the abuse of the 2.2 tires and run like a champ!
