ok i got fed up of snapping the blades off my old goat 3s esc because of it rubbing on the rear body when the axles moves and i have dented the fins on the back of it to, so didnt want to do the same to my new one so i came up with this for now its made from 1mm flat plate and 4mm bar, it feels lighter than the steering servo even with the esc stuck to it im just waiting for my shorter screws to arrive now as its mounted lower (sorry for the crappy pics used my mobile) |

could have swapped esc to receiver tray and receiver to the axle. it fits great there. |

thanks for the comments i hope it will keep the damage down, im using a novak ballistic 21.5t motor with a 14t pinion its a little slower than their crawler 21.5t motor. dmg make one out of alloy which goes over the top of the esc i got a rcbros dig servo mount coming and the esc is heavier than the receiver. (i was going to make one but this is easier for now, but am tempted to give it a go) |

well both functions of the guard works well i've given the back of it a hammering but i could of got away with out it being as tall, now the fan has plenty of room between the body on full articulation and compression since its mounted a lot lower than before. |
