| Kahuna's Build
I thought it was time to finally post up my Losi after a sad failure with the cast Bullys. The Bullys were bullet proof just to heavy for me. Thanks to all the previous builders this rig was by far the easiest to tune and build. Here's the specs Hitec 7950 for steering Kopro 949 for dig MMP CC BEC wired straight to the servo 1" SLW .675 / .475 Novak 21.5 17t pinion Lungsford Links and Steering NW Traction hybrid reaches soft fronts/firm rears (lol firm rears) Losi shocks 32 1/2 front / 22 1/2 rear 15mm / 11mm Panther Cougars The rest is mostly stock, no need to upgrade. Here's the pics With body and now naked rear articulation with the shocks inverted and not binding Close up of the lower shock mount Shot of the lead tape rap I'm trying for a static mount on the axle Last edited by Kahuna77; 04-14-2010 at 10:04 AM. |

you have any problems with the 7950 wired to the servo? I had mine hooked up that way runnin 7.4v to the servo and the servo would spaz out whenever the front tires were up against a rock

how is yours setup? I have both earth and hot leads from the BEC to the servo and only the signal wire is connected to the Rx. No glitches yet, knock on wood though. |

Hey Sean, Lookin good. You are correct about your Bully weighing too much. I think that you might want to try a battery with a higher c rating as the Losi will probably puff up that 20c batt. Are you going to Teds with this truck on Friday? Do you have a MOA kit for it yet? Kevin |

This rig works very well. Some really neat stuff done to it which seems to make it a little more agile while still being very stable. With a little more work this might be a very hard to beat truck, regardless of the driver, lol.
