Default 21.5t vs 17.5t bushless?

Uhm I am stuck on which one to buy, a whole bushless system from losi xeclorin. I have an lnc, soon converting the transmission with dig unit. Right now im running stock esc/55t budged motor on 20t pinon. So what would happens if i go for 21.5 on 16t or 17.5 on 14t running a 7.4v 2200 mah lipo. I do have an 400oz servo by hi tech. And 5.45 proline chisel.

Help me out please?

Jake is running both and is indecisive. he likes the torque of the 21.5...but like
the power of the 17.5 because he can jump and hop it over stuff. I'm running
the 17.5 and love it. If you get the 17.5 turn you should get the new HD worm
and spool that just came out.

, thanks, so I should get the 21.5 system first, and I could throw in a17.5 motor later without changing esc right?

It depends on your speed controller. I have a MambaMax pro, it goes up to 6S. And you can also run a Tekin RS pro on 4S.

Jack, i think you mis read my first message on here.. I was debating on which set i should buy, xcelorin bush less sensor system.. so i was not sure wither to get 21.5 or 17.5.. although I bought the 21.5 system am quiet impressed with the technology it has. Complicated at first, but get used to it pretty easily.

I was letting you know that you should get a system thats capable of 4S. These Losi's are power hungry. And if your going to buy a new speed controller at the same time, you might as well get one that can do more than 3S. But I'm sure the 3S and 21.5 system will work well for ya!

You could go either way, the ESC is the same on both systems...

im happy with the way it handles, but its kind of headache why they reset when you are changing channel on the transmitter for other vehicles.. i had to re program it every time i am going to run the crawler that has losi xcelorin system. oh also when i set it to the high on the plug in programable card, it doesnt give high wheel speed, still at the mid range.

Do you guys run BEC on this system? Mine keeps on resetting its settings every time I turn it on. I have to re-set it with radio, and then sometimes it would just go reverse itself after you go froward at neutral position.

Try to load-up the Losi software again...If it still does not work I would send it back to Losi and tell them the
problem.

I do not run a BEC on my Losi system...The power from the 6v 5amp gives the
servo plenty of power with no glitch or cutting out. Some say to still run a BEC
on the system to give it less stress.
