I've been running Hyperion 3S 1100mAh 35C batteries from Allerc.com. I run the same basic packs in my Slash 4x4, just higher capacity. The Hyperion packs have really impressed me but I would like to try and find a comparable quality pack for less $$. Turnigy is what I'll likely try next. Whatever you get, I would be sure to get batteries w/ at least a 30C discharge rating. Balance taps are also a must IMHO. - Chris |

2200ma packs are going to be a little large, physicly. 1000ma to 1300ma is typicly what folks run to keep the battery size down. 25 c to 40c is what you will find most common. Occasionally you might see a 1500ma being run too. Thunder power is great battery. But I find that they a bit too proud of their packs ($$$$) for my budget. The Turnigy packs and the like fair pretty well for the budget minded.

I run a 2600mAh 3S 20-30C battery, but I need to place it on the uper links. No brand at all... had them custom made in UK. And here is the battery on the car With a Losi Xcelorin ESC coupled with a Novak 18.5 (running 13t pinnion) and the Futaba BLS 152 servo, I get run times in the range of 45-50 minutes out of each pack (depends a bit on the difficulty of the terrain). Don't remember exactly because they were bought 14 months ago but, from what I remember, I payed arround 60€ (more or less 80 USD) for 3 packs, shipping included. The reason I bought 3 packs it's because I was used to play arround with my old AX10 for more than 3 and half hours with just one 4200mAh 7,2V NiMh pack... so I thought 3 packs would give me arround the same runtime. |

Cool ; By the looks of this one it just might do the trick then. http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...dProduct=11903 Or even one of these http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=7313 I buy all of my packs from these guys. There shipping isn't too bad if you use EMS shipping and keep a eye on your weight to make your shipping cost worth while. Oh yea just a note for the guys running Lipos. I posted a little something about lipos you may want to read up on. Take it for what it's worth , but I alway go by the 80% rule. It might intrest you or may not. just my 2 cents .

I have tried every lipo on this page except the CKRC punch pak, And the Elite lipo's from cheapbatterypacks.com will spank any of them, in regards to power, punch, and mah lasting ability!! Give them a try, you'll never look back |

I run some Holmes 1300 packs I got on clearance but if I were to buy more packs I would get these, the price and size is awesome, I haven't found anything cheaper unless it was on a huge sale. 1800mAh Lipo made to fit the Losi Comp Crawler I like my HH packs, they work well but 500 more mah would be nice to have, the D_Lux packs are 1800mah and $24 w/ deans, that's a deal. I am converting my truck over to 4s this weekend and will probably only run the 3s as backups after I taste all that power, haha. |

Nice selection guys. Looks like 1300 mAh 30C packs are the most common used pack . I cant believe the run times , thats great, My Heli only flys for 5 to 6 minutes max on 3300 30C 6s packs. Sure is going to be nice to get 15 minutes or more with a LCC. I think I will order 2 0r 3 of these http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=7658 Last edited by T/C Hunter; 12-10-2010 at 06:30 AM. |

I run 3s 1500 in my LCC, I haven't been able to find a way to order online yet, but my local hobby shop, orders from here and the 3s 1500 were 12.99 two days ago at the hobby shop, so I picked up another. http://www.supertigre.com/electric-power/batteries.html |

i have been running the turnigy 1000 mah 2cell and they are great batteries. When i ordered some 3cell i was an idiot and did not even pay attention to the measurements, so when i got them here they wouldn't fit. So i took them to the local hobby store and tried to swap knowing i was going to take a little loss. SO i swapped for a 3c park zone 1300 mah. Nice and compact but have no idea on the quality of this brand. So far so good.......
