Default lnc w/cc trans question?

lnc to lcc conversion pinion size? i plan on running the stock esc and motor. what would be the best pinion gear to run? i dont want to lose any torque. but want to gain some wheel speed from the stock lnc set up.

Default Ratio's

Well the NC comes with a 20t pinion and with the NC trany that gives you a gear ratio of 62.5 to 1. That same size pinion in the CC trany gives you a ratio of 50 to 1 (more wheel speed less torque). So if you wanted to keep the CC trany same ratio as NC you need to run a 16t pinion to give you a ratio of 62.5 to 1. The higher the ratio you run the more torque you will have, but you will loose wheel speed. Since you are running stock NC electronics I would run a 16t or smaller. The ratios for NC are in the manual and the same for the CC. You can download the CC manual from Losi's website.

The LNC and LCC trans are two completely different setups.

You will have to be very careful or you will burn up your stock LNC electronics.

The LCC and its trans is built for brushless where the LNC and its trans was built to be able to run brushed systems.
