Default 20 degree C's?

Still learning about crawling, so forgive the stupid question, but
What do the 20 degree C's do?
Are they a tuning aid? and if they are a tuning aid, what do they tune?

If you've ever driven a stadium truck or buggy, when you turn you will notice the front wheels in addition to turning, slant almost back towards the car, which allows for a bit tighter turn. I noticed just with adding them to my new project (not having driven it yet), that the tires no longer hit the springs, in addition to laying back a little bit.

I just found this out for myself, lol. Just got in my R/C Bros lcg servo mount, and can't use it with the 20* hubs.

Rcbros is coming out with one for the 20* C's. So I have heard. I was also bummed when I bought an lcog servo mount and it did not work. So I took Mr. Dremel out and shaved the front of the stock servo mount down and was still able to use my Rcbros steering link.

The biggest difference I noticed is since they layover more when turned you can sometimes get a little more grab from the edge of the front tires when trying to get up ledgey stuff--just by turning fully to one side or the other.

I use the RCBros LCG servo mount and the RCBros OTA steering link with the 20 degree C's. Had to shave a little off the OTA link where it mounts to the knuckles, less than 5 minutes to fix. Didn't have any issues with the LCG servo mount at all.
