Default Any axle housing protection ideas....

I've had my LNC for a couple days, only have about 4 hours on it and the axles are all scratched up and scraped. Is there a solution for this available that wont get in the way of its crawling abilities by getting caught on the rocks?
I know its a crawler they are dont stay pretty for long but I cant be the only one with this concern.

The point of the axle case is to house the gears and protect them as well as sliding over rocks, you won't burn through the case just crawling. Anything you add to the bottom is going to adversely affect ground clearance and going to hang up on rocks.

bigger tires and pick better lines! Otherwise, it comes with the territory!

A new axle housing is only something like $8 anyway if you ever want to replace it.

I didn't realize the housings were so cheap so ....bring on the damage! Besides if it breaks there is no better time to upgrade.
