| LNC axled MOA for 2012 A.K.A."Lil Bitz"
Finally going MOA and this is how I'm doing it. My insperation: Tracer Bully Ricky style What I have so far Any of you veteran LCC guys have any suggestions for axle improvements I'm all ears. These are LNC axles too if that changes anything. I'm leaning toward a pair of 10t Pullers but may go 35t. On 3S of course. Smashed FXRs and CC Becs. the lnc axles are decently stout to begin with, i've only changed out bearings, pins (.062x.375 music wire if i remember correctly), and put an hd gearset in the front, and just about forgot that i put 5x11's in the stock knuckles for the hell of it on them and been beating the crap out of them. going to be an interesting build doing it like ricky's bully. with that sort of design, drilling and tapping the top of the moa mount is going to be a must, but don't see any problem with that, i'm running mine even higher on my shafty i think (at least comparing it to my delrin moa mount). only real recommendation is to keep the tierod but ditch the drag link, my experience with the lnc tie rod is that instead of getting all knarled up on a rock like this still aluminum lcc link, it'll flex a bit an either allow the tires to hit, or pop itself up. also, if you want an easy way to run bta, take a look in the last couple pages of my thread and look at the mount i made, damn simple and no failure in 50+ hours or runtime.

Thanks for the info. I will be doing a bta so that stock LNC crap will be scrapped. I think I'm going to have a truss of some sort for the upper links. Should be pretty easy to fab. Here is a pic of the chassis template I'm working on. |

That'd be the easy way out. I love to build and tinker plus this isn't a torsional chassis.

Links are undecided, but this is kind of the placement. Thinking 1/4" delrin ultra high clearance lowers and stainless uppers. Last edited by Bart bender; 11-20-2011 at 01:20 PM. |

Interesting. Why not follow the lower line of the body for the lower links? |

I thought about that too. I think under articulation the lower link on a given side will droop to the lower body line. This will allow a completely clear brake over. Or I may be just over thinking this Lil Bitz |

It's amazing what you can get done when you don't have to work. Almost a roller. Going to fab some upper links and adjustable shock mounts. Happy Thanksgiving everyone |

It's a roller. This is max flex, but I can yield more. Don't think I need more though :bgrin: Now the hard part, BTA steering. |

In chassis BTA finished. This took longer than the chassis. Also got the big block power installed Last edited by Bart bender; 11-30-2011 at 07:36 PM. |

Got the FX-Rs smashed. Not as small as some but it'll do. Coated it with something different |

Thanks guys. I may have to remake it though. It dosn't come down far enough on the sides. My main intention was to tie it into the chassis to help with housing flex. But my cab idea may take care of that. Stay tuned this is going to be funky |

I need some honest opinions before I cut this out. It will be 3/16 delrin. The white construction paper I'm calling it the spine. Maybe lose the spike and do some bumps or short spikes? |
