| Losi nightcrawler 2.0 parts???
Ok i just picked up a losi nightcrawler2.0. Just got to mess around just a lil bit. Seems good but seems the shocks are a lil stiff. Any suggestions on shocks? Also where is the best place to order parts for it? Thanks

Try 20w shock oil as a start point, it may be the springs are too stiff tho. But shock oil is cheep.. 149 r/c worx team driver |

Shocks are fine. Put Losi gold coded springs on it and forget the rest. Keep the shocks full of oil, as they're prone to leak. And pump em up, get em foamy before you go driving.

According to the 2.0 owners manual, the stock spring rate is 3.4 lb/in. Here is a list of other Losi spring rates. Note: not all of these are commercially available anymore. The spring rate you need will depend a lot on how much weight you are carrying in the battery box. If you are using a 6-cell NiCad you may need to stay with the heavier spring. If your batteries and electronics are down on the lower links, you could use as little as 1.2 lb/in springs. LOSA5154 2.5” orange 2.9 lb/in LOSA5152 2.5” red 2.6 lb/in LOSA5150 2.5” pink 2.3 lb/in LOSA5147 2.75” white 1.8 lb/in LOSA5146 2.75” gray 1.6 lb/in LOSA5144 2.75” gold 1.4 lb/in LOSA5143 2.75” black 1.2 lb/in |

2.75" gold springs. $4.99 for a pair(2 springs) @ A-Main Hobbies. Worth the $10.00 Glenn |

When I got my 2.0 I changed the oil to 20w and the springs to Axial 1.43s, they fit perfect and are available, I also changed my foams to 2 stage crawler innovations soft in the front and med in the rear, lastly I got Blue Monkey Knuckle weights for the front as this thing is very light, hope this helps.
