| I get my LNC Tomorrow!
It's been at the house for two weeks, batts and charger for a week. I've been away at work, tomorrow I go home... Batteries will be charged, modifications and adjustments will be made. Fun will be had. I've got plans for a set of Dlux hubs, and I'm planning to fab up some homemade extended shock mounts, maybe a frame topper too... Wish me luck finding parts for this thing. |

Ok... Had it for a bit now, and I'm in love! Fairly capable out of the box, I must say I was impressed. But.... I pushed the preload collars up to the top of the shock body, in fact I covered the upper faceted section with the top of the collar, so they really are topped out. I halved and star cut my foams, and then hacked out a pair of memory foams for the front. As I had no luck finding lead weights locally with any amount of speed, I stripped some Romax for the 14 gauge ground wire. Thus, I added at least a few grams to the front and rear, of course biased to the front. I've got a good Savox servo in my gear bag, just waiting to kill the crap stocker, other than that, I'm loving it. A bit more weight in the wheels and a bodyless frame topper and I'll be about done. Sucker basically sticks like glue so long as I do my part properly. |

Well, I picked up a Dynamite 20t and a 26t pinion. Obviously much better wheelspeed, although I'm not noticing to much missing in the torque available. It runs just about fast enough now to trail with, which is awesome. The runtimes with a 3200mah Lipo is insane! My eleven year old nephew gets bored before half the pack runs out, and I've got a pair. I'm sure there'll be lots of long crawls to come. |

| Re: I get my LNC Tomorrow! from my many years of testing, ive found a small pinion 12-14t(16t on 1.9) and a sensored 13.5-17.5t brushless motor on 3s(could run 4s) offer the best of all worlds, speed, torque, runtime.
