I am a Tekin fanboy, so I run a Tekin RS and 13.5T motor. I have ran the Novak Ballistic Crawler 21.5T and 18.5T in the past, and I prefer the Redline 13.5T. This setup has good wheel speed for a Losi, and it does not run hot. Just an FYI, this is an older setup and is only a 2-pole system. I am not sure if there is any difference between a 2-pole and 4-pole system.

I had very good success with a Tekin RS and a Trinity D3 17.5 back in my day.

If I were to run brushless in a Losi again I would prefer to go with a Reedy 13.5. They always felt a little smoother then Trinity to me and dont seem to get hot/warm as quick.

ESC's though it was hands down Tekin for me. Small foot print and once they came out with the minimum drive setting for us they became smoother.

It depends on what your looking to do...just bash or actually comp it.
