Default Which brushed motor upgrade for 2S LNC - $50 budget?

I have a mostly stock , first generation LNC. (The only upgrades are foams and weights in the wheels.) I would like a little more oomph out of it, but don't want to go down the rabbit hole of brushless upgrades and 3S batteries. Increased speed is not a concern, I just want more torque and power to climb rocks.

I am sticking with 2S because I don't want to have to upgrade the ESC, and also I have several 2S 5000mAh LiPos.

I have browsed some threads, and I see the Traxxas Titan 21T gets recommended a lot, and it's only $20.

However, I am willing to invest $50, and that could put me into a Holmes Torquemaster expert 540 or Crawlmaster Expert 540. Given my application, which would be a better choice? What is the difference between these two motors - I wasn't quite clear from Holmes' website. If I stretch the budget to $65 for a Torquemaster Expert 550, would that give me a significant gain in performance?

Any other motors worthy of consideration- should I be looking at Tekin or Integy?

550 is a good option for these Losi trucks because of the added torque they have over a 540.

$20 TrailMaster Sport 550 - TrailMaster Series - Brushed Motors - Motors

Pocket the rest for now.

Thanks! Will this motor fit OK? I recall reading a thread where someone was having an issue with a 550 motor not clearing the battery tray.

Not sure, as I have Comp Crawler. I have a 550 Trinity open endbell motor bolted to a Night Crawler transmission. I can maybe fit a couple of hairs between it and the little ESC tray. Not the same though…
