| A fresh new look for an old crawler
I've have set my crawling and trailing ambitions aside to pursue off-road racing, but lately I've been getting the itch to gear down ever since the release of the Enduro. I've been collecting and racing Team Associated stuff for a while and would love to carry on supporting them in the crawling scene. The funny thing is that this post is about my Losi The LCC is well built, and who doesn't like worm gear diffs? Anyway, I decided to give her a facelift and new shoes. It now has a matching paint scheme to my racing fleet and modern rubber. I'm looking forward to slowing down and playing on some crawling courses with her. I will have to do a lot of research before getting into my Enduro build though. Here are some pics, enjoy Before rebuild Rebuild pics I later shortened the leads to the rx and also I'm using a wireless sanwa rx. I also shortened the motor wires and relocated the esc to the chassis. Everything is much more tidy. New tires, Pro-line Hyrax 2.2 G8, which seem to be the tire to go to for solid surfaces such as rocks. I cored out lateral holes in the foam just below the surface in such a way that the foam will collapse yet still maintain form. Ah crap...it's been a while since I've been on a forum, what photo hosting sites are people using now? I was just using google photos, but that's not going to work here. |

Thanks for the compliments guys. Here are the body off pics. I took a thick piece of lexan and made an electrics mount so that both the esc and rx would fit. Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk |

I wish I knew, I've been looking for another set. I ended up with them second hand from a friend of mine.

The wheels look like the old Axial, plastic 8-hole beadlock wheels in satin chrome. Axial Racing - 2.2 8 Hole Beadlocks (Satin Chrome) |
