Spot fot next gtg/comp?

Checked out some spots buy arkabutla lake today. Water came up some but island is still a good spot. May go down buy this weekend. Here is a link to pics. All these spots are within 5 minutes of each other. Were we met first time was on east side of lake. These are on the west side by the dam. http://s371.photobucket.com/albums/o...Bayou%20point/

I think we can find a spot to crawl there on saturday. I hope there aren't too many rip-rap holes on that island.

Sounds good. I will post up directions in a bit. should only add a few more minutes drive time compared to the old spot.
Take 55 south to exit 280(hernando Hwy 304)Turn right(west) straight aprx 10 mile to eudora. At 4 way stop in town turn left on hwy 301. It will dead end in 4 miles, turn left. That will be arkabutla dam rd. you will come to a T in 2 miles turn right along bottom of dam. After you cross the spillway and go up the hill be looking for the bayou point signs.(2.5 miles)
Turn left into bayou point.Road will fork take left fork and them first right .Should be looking at spot. Any questions call (662-671-5147) Or pm.

I'm planning on being there, and Jeepcj578 said he will come if he isn't called into work. I see the temp now is gonna be in the low 50s with some sun on saturday. Ken may even make it too. If his wife lets him

Id traid a day of crawling to have fun with my wife any day...... But thank goodness she aint got anything planned till later that day.....

Its usally windy there. that breeze comes across the water. I crawled for about 30 mins for it started rainin today. Hopefully it will be sunny. There are picnic tables and bathrooms up by the parking area.

Hope everything comes out ok Ken. Well the weather was great down here today. Actually wore short sleeves outside for a little bit. Should be awesome at the lake 2 morrow.
