Yes. Tomorrow (Sat) we are meeting up at Ocoee WWC. for a GTG. You should show up. We are also trying to find time to make it to Raccoon Mnt. To check out that place. Just keep looking in the TN. section. Where do you live or what are you close to? |

I live in Dalton Ga. I can get to Carters Lake, Racoon Mtn or the Ocoee in about 45 minutes. I am going to take some pics of a little park that real close to my house and see what you folks think of the rocks. When are you folks GTG tomorow? |

Seven or eight people. We set up two near impossible courses with narrow little gates for practice. Greg said that by doing that, it makes the official gates at the comp seem huge. We'll see. It just made me feel like I was doing a crappy job of driving I had to leave early but I think they stayed there near all day... it was cold and windy though. Not like the weatherman said |

Anyone tried looking around Suck Creek, near Prentice Cooper? Look up the intersection of Suck Creek Rd (Hwy 27) and River Canyon Rd, it's NW of Chattanooga. |

Image from Google maps. There's another spot for pulling off the road further down towards the river. I've not been there myself, only looked at it on Google. |

Here are some pictures I took a while back at the TVA Raccoon Mtn. Reservoir. The rocks are fairly large and might be more ideal for a super class rig. For scale I threw in a picture of my old Nylint 1:6. Hope this helps! -Lex Last edited by Lextronix; 01-07-2009 at 10:15 AM. |

I think the Laurel Falls parking lot, head out on the reservoir loop and take a right after you drive past the top of this area. There is a parking lot on your right. The rocks are about 1/4-1/2 mile on a trail from the parking lot. I think it will be impossible to run out of rock combinations, there are so many rocks there, but the pics give you the idea. -Lex Last edited by Lextronix; 01-16-2009 at 06:36 AM. Be careful parking there the "locals" like to relieve you of your valuables. You can't hear breaking glass down in a gorge with water running. That parking area has a lot of broken glass from windows. | |
