If anyone can give me any info, or would like to help out, please let me know. I believe that December 12th would be a good start date as long as everything can fall into place.

Let me know how yall feel about that!!
Thanks guys.

Have you thought about maybe making one Thursday a month a points comp and keeping the others just for fun and bragging rights?

I would think you would just assign points for the placing maybe something like this:

1 gets 10 points
2 gets 9 points
3 gets 8 points
and so on?

maybe need to bump the scale to starting at 20.

Just my .02

Bob

Thumbs is still there, but there is a hole in it. got rid of the splint, made it to hard to tweak on the crawler.

That works for us at the store. I was just thinking by doing a saturday thing as well, that we could run more coarses and give the minis a chance to get in there.
I know that Thursday night will always be Crawling Night. I just want to see if we can get something going on another day as well, and since I am mostly stuck at the store on Saturdays, I could bring the comps to me!

Does that sound like a good idea?
I just like to crawl!

You could split up No-Dig and Dig to two different days / nights and allow both groups to run two courses (maybe 3 for the Sat. group).

I was able to try the course out for a while Friday night. Nice setup you all have there.

What about doing the regular small comps on Thursday night, then starting a point series on Saturdays (one a month), so we would have enough time to run Novice 2.2, Pro 2.2, and 1.9's. Then you could do the points like Bob said, that would be cool!

Just my $0.02...

How about making the points series outdoors at various locations weather permitting?

Kind of a Hobbytown Chattanooga Rock Crawling Circuit.

That would be awesome, but for Marsha to sponsor it, she wants it to be here. Mainly because if she is going to pay an employee to be somewhere, it might as well be at the store.

I'm thinking that it will be held here at the store once a month, for however long and do the points accordingly. Im trying to figure out the best time to start this. I would like to start it on Dec. 12th, but that is Brians last points series.

What kind of time frame should I start with? And Who all would be interested?

Dang, a year long thing would take forever, well a year, lol. I say you do like 5 or 6 comps and split it up into two different series.

But either way I'm down! Don't forget about the minis too!

LoL yeah that true. So lets do 2 per year!
I'll get the details together. But keep up the suggestions. I like input!
