This place was a blast! I stumbled on this messing around with Google Earth. Whoodie and I drove out there today to check it out In hopes it would pan out. Man did it ever, GOLD MINE!

Its in Glen Rose Texas, and its called Big Rocks Park. Now this is the kind of park that I like crawling in!

Its about 1 1/2 hours from me. Its the same distance as Mineral Wells, so its not really that bad. Pretty much just down 35w South and then west for a bit.

Expect our season open here in July

Yep.....Glen Rose is an awesome spot! After you crawl, you can go check out the Dinosaur tracks!!

I agree guys. For the DFW area its a great place. Almost reminds me of home

It is sure a fun place to crawl. I went through 2 battery packs before it got up to 100*

I'll be out here Sunday 1/24 starting around 1pm (I'll be at Burger King in Glenrose before that). Planning on 2 hrs or so. Only taking my 1.9 scaler.

Girlfriends family owned the park across the street, Oak Dale, until just recently. Been crawling this place for years.
