I might have to go check it out. Man there are a lot of rocks on the road at pleasure Island. I have not been down there in like 10 years. Plenty of place to crawler though.

There not on the road like that anymore, that was right after hurricane Rita. About 20 miles of rocks to play on. Let me know I might have to meet you down there. | |

| sabine lake north and south levee
i saw this post...what a great idea...im glad to know there are some crawlers in the area...i have an axial ax10 and my buddy has a redcat rs10. i tell you what it was some of the best crawling ive done...it was a blast...i have some pictures but i havent figured out how to post them on an album or whatever but i do have some you tube links. unfortunately both the north and south levees are closed do to road construction, but if your down for a 200yd walk its worth it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MuVO1GrITv0 redcat http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_9oJugJN7A axial ax10 |

Sweet guys it would be cool to get together and do some crawling, I found another good place on Pleasure Island with a BIG hill for around here, its down beside the dry dock(towards LA)(No pics)Me and my son went and hit up PI(south revetment) and another secert place you can only get to with a 1:1, no rocks but the clays is just as hard as rocks, and it has some great climbing! |

Its behind the ponds that are before you get to the boat launch for the salt water barrier on the neches river in BMT. Its really cool. Thinking about going this weekend if the weather is ok.
