Default Drift Meet in Austin This Weekend!

Hey y'all,

It looks like we're having a drift meet in Austin this Saturday, March 5th. Let's get the course setup started ~9:30 so we can be running by 10 am. Everyone's help is appreciated since very few of us have set up drifting courses! If anyone has hoses and chalk to help set up boundaries and course outlines, please bring them.

Last time we used my truck as drivers' stand, but it won't be available this time. So if you have a truck, please bring it!

Location is in NW Austin at a business park at the intersection of Hwy.1 83 and Oak Knoll Dr. Here's a link. It should show 3 drift spots in blue. If not, please let me know. We'll be drifting most likely at "spot #2".

And to get the juices flowin', here's a video from our last meet at this location.

We can try it Steve. All I know is that the Windows 7 on my laptop doesnt accept the Mamba Max driver install with Castle software, in either the USB port or through the RX plug...

Its the Windows 7 Im trying to get away from if that is the problem. Ive tried multiple Mamba Maxs on the same laptop and no go, on ANY of them! So I was hoping someone was still running XM or earlier.

FYI...the laptop Im bringing is XP and works just fine.

Although its cold and rainy right now (G'town) Im still heading out at 9:30, figured if its nasty out we could head over to one of the parking garages near by to drift.

I'd be up for a road trip, but not on a Sunday night!

BTW, my POS is finally together and it should finally get a speed controller tonight. So I may head across the street to the business park to practice. If anyone else is interested in joining me (Sat. or Sun.) hit me up...
