|  TXRCRCA "Rock The Night" Scale Event, Dec 3rd, Georgetown  UPDATE due to weather and muddy conditions we are going to change locations. still georgetown, but now at Georgetown lake. and also moving the time up. Date: Dec 3rd Where: Georgetown Lake (Cedar Breaks Park) Time: 4pm-8 (steve and i will probly be there a little early) map: http://www.google.com/maps/ms?msid=2...01876,0.003484 IGNORE THIS When: December 3rd 2011 Where: Blue Hole Park, Georgetown Time: Meet/setup @ 5pm, Start @ 6pm Map: http://www.google.com/maps/ms?msid=2...02653,0.003484 Get your lights ready boys! ive been wanting to do this for awhile. With enough attendence we do plan to do a class 1 and class 2 Scale comp. otherwise we will just do a trail ride and maybe setup a few fun courses. Sunset is at 5:30 so we will have dusk for a bit before full nightfall. LEDs on the rigs required. and i would suggest a flashlight etc for yourself.  i am also going to try to track down some of the glo braclets and mini glo sticks to help mark the gates.Cant wait! here is a video we shot yesterday at the location. please post up if you plan on attending! As always, I had a ton of fun. Cory and Eric, trucks looked awesome and performed well. We certainly need to do a night event again and I know I learned alot from this one. Cory - Thank you for trusting my weather "sense", and iPhone . There was a break in the weather during the entire time we were out there, it was perfect and a little warm actually. Cory, I think I know what tires Im running on my class 1 build nowEric - Thank you for coming out with your bad-ass portaled beast. A special thank you for the motor plate and goodies you included with it!! Both of you guys prove that there are some great people in this hobby who love the hobby itself and strive to see it grow! |

took a peak at a few of the vids this morning. its very Blair Witch looking  its a good thing i had the LED light bar on the gopro or all we would have got was a black screen lol. still quite dark though. the dusk shot of the trucks coming at the camera with the dark thunder clouds and mirror lake in the background looked amazing though! anyone have any scary music suggestions?  |
