This site is certainly where you will find comp info for DFW but another site, TXRCRCA also has NTX info. The scale guys are certainly around and actually a lot of the hardcore comp guys were getting into the scale scene last spring but have gotten completely out. You might also check in with the guys at Mikes hobby shop. I know one of the guys there is a scaler.

I don't have a scaler, but I am in mansfield. I am probably going to make a trip out to either big rocks park or lake grapevine next thursday or friday if you want to come.

so whats the reason for them getting out? I know rockhard was at the g6 last fall in tyler. i met a few of the comp guys at the wearhouse last year i braught my scx10 (wrong place for scaler) and a couple had them. we have a few guys in the area that we run scalers with and we are tryin to get more involved. We are doin biweekly funruns at various locatins ranging from rockwall, rowlett dallas by white rock lake wilmer but havent been to grapevine yet. we have a little local website that we have http://offroadrclub.webs.com/ not much but it keeps track of us and locations we have been and whats goin on w our little club of 6 for now

Where have you guys been going at WR Lake. I have tried to take my comp rig over to the rocks by the new crew building and I really round the area overgrown, and the rocks were pretty round and kept swallowing wheels.
