Default The little Zombies that could

so, thanks to the Reducing 2.2 Moabs to 1.9 Sticky.. i got the bug...

I took some old Masher 2000's that i had sitting around and my Zombie maxx tires from my Supers comp rig.. now, on my comp rig they were always a bit too small.. but.. the hieght would be perfect for a 2.2 but waaaay too wide.. so, after getting inspired and a run to the hobby shop for some glue and my wife yelling at me for using her "good" shears... heres what i have....

i know theres only 3 in the picture.. im still finishing the 4th... they are still at the stock losi zombie maxx height of @ 5.5" but now they are only @ 2.25" wide

I'm guessing you realize they aren't 2.2 comp legal... right?

And why would that be? Several people in our club run tires like that. One guy even runs that exact tire on his 2.2 comp rig. I actually run a mix between badlands and max mashers on mine with 2.2 sidewalls glued in.

Those tires work dam good on a 2.2 rig around here.

I always thought the Zombies hooked up great. The Claws are better though?

They look sweet on that tuber. Is that mnster's or Cole82's ole tuber? Stretch the wb to 14" and run it in super with my 14" 2.2 Super.

Sweet. I've never thought of doing that. I'm gonna try it on some old tires. Nice work.

I didn't want to open a new thread, so I'm asking here...
I run the Zombies maxx Size on my superclass and I read that some people cut the small pins on these tires, is there really any benefits ?
Thanks,
Yohan

i would love some soft zombies for 2.2s i think that for some of the weird things we crawl over in michigan during the snowy season they would work really well
