Claws get my vote. Reason is because they work better than all the rest.

Claws are "bubblegum" soft and seem to stick to everything. Before I got Claws, I thought they just had a better tread pattern than Lizards... Now I see it is the rubber compound that makes them the best.

Rock Claws. There isn't another tire that can make the lines they make here in Colorado.

Agreed claws were the only tire in that list above to "move the sport" the way they did. They were the only tire, that once they popped on the scene everybody bought in.

Every other tire on that list everyone says works really good but is comparable to others in grip.

I agree, Claws are the hot ticket right now. But I wouldn't say that they are the only tire that moved the hobby and that everybody bought into - don't be too quick to forget the Moab craze

I think the success of the Moabs really pushed other manufacturers to move forward with thier own tires, and showed that a crawler-specific product can indeed be profitable.

i like the sticky axials. Ive run them side by side with guys running losi's and was able to make it over everything they made it over without any difficulty (as well as some things they couldnt). I think depending on what your crawling over will dictate what tires you get (for instance claws suck IMO for logs)

Claws get my vote. I just switched to them and they were making lines on wet rock and frost that my stock lizards couldnt do in warm dry conditions.

#1 Losi Rock Claws hands down no question. #2 choice for me is the Proline Masher 2K, stock and narrowed width

Use The Search Feature

Never heard of it?!?! Oh my god, dude, get this...

Click on the word 'Search' in the tool bar above and, get this, a little window will pop up within which you can type a word or group of words like, oh, I don't know.....uh..... 'best tire'. Then guess what? No, you can't guess. All right, I'll tell ya. It brings up threads that match your search criteria. I know, pretty cool huh.

It saves us from having the same tired conversations over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and.......you get the point.

And to answer this question for the very last time. There is no one 'best tire'. But I'm sure you now know how to find the thread in which this was previously stated, and backed up by logical reason.

Have a nice day.

if people didn't wan't to respond, they wouldn't. I have found that people enjoy voicing their opinion over and over and over...
