second pic is 2.2 , WK, and stock T-maxx tires on proline wheels.

The ones that it comes with, Extra hexes in the box, 14mm hexes.

Anyways I'm running the 2.2's on hacked apart stock WK wheels.

That chevy looks awesome and the tires look great on it. How do the actually WORK though, as compared to like your rock claws?

The Rock Claws are a comp tire. The Mudslingers are a scale tire. Rock Claws are better on rocks, Slingers better for mud, and the scale trails.

Default why not

what is the actual reason they dont work well is it the compound? Do they just spin on the rocks instead of grip them or what?

I hear the soft slingers do good. But The bogger design was not meant for rocks. You can't expect them to be that great. Just like the 1:1's.

Could you verify what wheels them are? That would be great as they look like standard 40 series wheels from Tower.

Thanks in advance..

Sorry for the post, i found that they're axial NARROWED wheels. Is this a correct statement?

It would be nice to have more of a selection for these tires :(

they're axial 40 series narrowed wheels. the slingers fit 'em like a glove.

edit: ha, you figured it out while i was replying.

Thanks a lot!

Will standard tires fit the narrowed rims? Or would it be bad to switch tires once mounted on beadlocks? Thanks

to my knowledge, the only tires made to fit the axials are the slingers and the moab XLs. switching tires should be easy - it's possible to strip a threaded hole out when taking screws out and putting them back in, but just be cautious when do so, i guess. when the 40 series rock crusher tires are available, i plan to swap the slingers out and keep 'em for mudding around. but the idea is to keep the axial wheels for both.

as for a standard tire - i'm not sure. a regular 40 series tire would most likely need to be narrowed. otherwise most other tires aren't as tall and have less sidewall, compared to the slingers and moab XL's.
