Exclamation The final verdict???

Ok, so the time has come for me to buy some new tires for my AX. The rock lizards are ok to mess around with... but they just seem to limit where the car will go here in NM. What is the best overall tire to run?? I have heard many a good thing about Losi Rock Crawls as well as the Proline Badlands. What is the general consensus??

Everyone will have their own opinion about this.
Both tires will net you excellent crawlability.

Also check out the new Proline Hammer! Due out very soon:

Agreed. Both are great tires, I have been running the badlands a lot lately and have only seen a few slight advantages with them. But there was a section where the bigger lug of the losi helped and I couldnt get the badlands to follow. You really cant go wrong with either

I really like the way my Claws are grabbing and has good sidehill ability. I did not cut the foams to see how they performed, I'm very happy with full foams and they seem to work better with time and I run them backward...

I think I may just wait for the M3 Hammers to hit the shelves of my LHS.. Now that they announced they will be with memory foams, they are looking better and better then the rock crawls.

Wow I must be in the old or something lol. I really like my moabs. They seem to be a very decent all around tire. I run them with airsoft bb's and they are very good to me. I also am a big fan of the rock claws.

Dirk, what have you found? Do you like the M2 or M3 compound for the hammers. Why I ask is that Mr. Rizzo tried the M3's and said that they where folding up, and he then went to the M2 and really like them. Just a little insight on your opinion. Thanks

I'll put in a vote for the Badlands. I've been really impressed with the set i've got on my rig. That said, it really depends on what kind of terrain you're running on.
