Default Poor Mans Wheel Weights

Rather than buying a ton of wheel weight, which can get expensive if you by a lot of them, I made this simple method. It's cheap, easy and you can add and reduce weight without having to stick on the wheel weights.
It worked great for the Proline Tire Shoot Out Test! I was able to try different weights between several different wheels. Had several weights pre-made so I could easily swap them around.

1. Grab some duct tape
2. Tear a strip off and load it up with old bb's
3. Pinch it together, forming a uniform weight
4. Weigh your weight
4. Tape it into the wheel. Done.

about 5 years ago, that's what me and Jason did. Seriously. Jason showed up to crawl one day and had his clod tires filled with rocks.

That might be too hard for hill billy Bob in the middle of nowhere. This way any kid with a Daisy Red Rider with a compass in the stock can make wheel weights.

Dirk! That's Ghetto genius!

Far better than hitting up the local tire store and saying "Did you ever run Soap Box Derby as a kid?!?!?!?!?! I just need about ten strips of stick on weights for the under privileged kids in Troupe xxx" Now if that isn't ghetto I don't know what is It works like a charm though .

Good idea though because I've got a lot of bb's and am running out of chipmunks. Plus they've got help and have started to fight back

My vice is pigeons. Seems a lot of them have acquired lead poisoning and don't seem to hang around much.

Tried it, and since the little guys are scraping all I got was

Trying the big stores is like pursuing a hot woman. You may get shut down; but if you do get it....................:-D

Very clever Dirk I like using duck decoys weights but it's hard to very the weight. Your idea works well creating different weight packages.

1/4" diameter lead fishing weight. Comes on a spool. Walmart, about $6.
