Default Good mud/crawling tire

I'm loooking for a good mud/ rock crawling tire. I know that a lot would say mud slingers but is there anything else. I've tried rockclaws and they are awesome but I wanted something different.

The M3 Masher 2000 crawl well and do an exceptional job of clearing mud.

Losi Rock Claws, perhaps? Good on the rocks, and they've got that bogger look to them.

Or maybe the new Flatirons by Proline. Definitely got the scale looks down, and look like they'd clean out decently in the thick stuff.

wheel speed helps make an average mud tire a great mud tire. With a lil cutting, I like the looks of the flat iron as well.

You can see it on Proline's web site and decide for yourself.

Hacked up Crushers work insanely well in the mud and aren't nearly as bad on the rocks as 99% of people make them out to be.

thanks for the replys and I tried rock claws and with a full layer of mud on them they were still great. I might go mud slingers or what you said. gotta wait for the cash to start flowing again. Also with no wheel speed at all I was able to take my x-trail ax10 through like half an inch of water/mud with no effort at all

I prefer a tire that will pull the truck through axle-deep MUD!

I kinda like the IMEX G Hawg , or the Swamp Dawp . But i am kinda one sided since the 1:1 tires are the most popular in the mud ,. and work really well in my area .
I have both sets , and the G Hawg isnt too awful on the rock , but nowhere near the traction of the Panthers . It is a great all around tire though .

Thanks to all the replys. I just switched to 1.9 wheels and tires from a pajero kit my dad bought(he got others) and mud slingers are on the way. I'm building a axial x-trail with K-5 body

Unless you're bringing lots of wheel speed, don't bother with Claws. Especially if you're running a flipped chassis, low wheel speed WK through near battery deep soup I'd probably stick with M2K's for a multi purpose tire.

As far as deep mud, I like my cut, grooved, and sipped mud thrashers. At ~5.3 tall and ~2.9 wide though it takes a toll on drivetrain parts not mention batteries when you're in clay/sand mud deeper than the axles. They do ok on the rocks after softening the rubber but still nothing like any of the other offerings.

I'd stay away from claws other tires with similar tread patterns... Mud doesn't clean out of the lugs too well (just ask my wife and the 2 hours she spent cleaning mud out of my claws). Flat Irons might work OK, but I haven't tried them in mud.... yet

In all honesty, I'd just run my original Thrasher's too if I have them with me, they just seem like the right type of tire for that job
