| Narrowing clod wheels write up, where is it?
I have searched but I came up empty, What keywords besides clod and narrowing wheels do I need to use? Those keywords bring up 1/2 the website.

This is from an OLD RCCA rag(early '90s) not about narrrowing stock Clod wheels but making duallies into singles. Similar cut lines to the wheel on the right side is the norm for narrowing both sides on a stock wheel.

No you will not have to narrow your tires. Most people do remove some tread to make the tires grip the rocks better.

You can narrow any rims and dont have to narrow the tires.I have narrowed all the rims I have had from 2.2 wheels up to my 40 series and love them and from the out side front face you cant tell that they were narrowed if thats what you were asking.

Well,Im gunna try to do the writeup from utrcrc, and you know how it says to instert the whole wheel into the front part that you cut? This: You can barely tell because the wheels are white, but will you notice on crome wheels? |

If you do it the way the pic shows yes you will be able to see where it will be glued.I narrow my wheels a diffrent way so that you cant see the cuts from the wheel face.
