Default how much weight to add?

I found the stick on wheel weights finally. im pretty new to this. i was going to wrap the back wheels one time and the front wheels 2 times. sound like a good way to go? if it matters the tires are proline hammers. rims and crawler rpm narrow wheels.

thanks for the help

it really depends on your truck. where your batteries are, what axles, what wheelbase, overall weight of the truck. ETC ETC ETC.

On my TLT based rig with a 8cell 2/3A pack on the front axle i used about 4 oz each front, 2 oz rear. However on my berg i use 1.5 oz in the front +5 ball bearings (mayhem CDP wheels), and only 3 ball bearings in the rear (no stick ons). My dads axial rig has 5 oz front 1 oz rear with the lipo on the rear axle.

what it comes down to is trial and error, just like tire and foam setups, try, try, and try untill its right

Best bet is to just add a bit more in front than the back say 6 and 4, 8 and 5 what ever you want, then tune it from there. I think i have mine where i want it now with 7+ battery in front and 6 oz in the back.

Once I went with a small 2200 lipo in the front I went with 15 oz in each front tire and 12 1/2 oz in each rear. I love the way it performs. Just depends on what your running.

I'm running fully loaded Vanquish DH procomps at 14.5oz per front and 10.5oz in the rear and love it.
