Mounted up a set of the new Comp Claws and ran a couple of quick lines on the test course. Very impressive so far, almost as good as my regular tires without any break in or tuning. Looks like a winner so far.

Here's some pics comparing them to the Panthers and Rovers. Just a hair under the panthers and tiny compared to the rovers. This is going to be a tough sale for me since the extra height of the rovers helps keep my heavy aluminum axles from dragging. The sidewall feels pretty stiff and should sidehill very well. The memory foam is very dense and very slow on rebound. I don't think I'll even give them a try. Instead I'll try the rover stock foam. They just fill the tire. |

Initial testing: They made all the lines that my Rovers make in my test spot albeit with a little more difficulty. I felt the center lugs make the tread pattern too tight so I got rid of em. IMO they need a little softer foam set-up than the original claws maybe due to the increased ribbing inside the sidewalls? Ill continue to play with the foams and Im sure they will get better when they are properly scuffed. Overall I think these will be a good tire for rounded rock spots where a lower CG really helps and the extra height of my Rovers arent needed.
