Default Is it just a rumor, or well founded speculation.....

that panther is gonna come out with a new TALLER cougar?

you can buy a custom set of hand made 5.5" cougars for like $116...

But i have heard panther was gonna make a new one....

im a bout to buy a few sets of tires, and didnt want to buy a set of cougars only to have a newer taller version come out a week later...

I know they are not going to build a new cougar. But a taller tire may be in the future.

I do believe this is what happens when you have a non-crawler or a non-competitive crawler designing a crawler tire.

I can see that being a decent tire if they got in there and cut half or more of those lugs out.

I would however like a panther tire with a very tiny sidewall tread, though. Not much, but just a little.

Then again, the compound is so soft that it probably wouldn't make a difference.

Yes! A taller cougar would be killer.
