| rovers compared?
a guy at the lhs today said that the rovers on ckrc for sale and the rovers at the hobby shop are not the same tires? something about the ones on the website are not soft even though they say they are or something like that. he also said that ckrc service its horrible. (delivery wait times, costumer service, etc...) anybody know anything about these. thanks

I agree with some of what he said (from what I have read). But I would not buy from that guy either......he is lying to you....probably trying to make a sale. White rovers are white rovers. Check out these guys.....best customer service and super fast shipping. http://www.tcscrawlers.com/ON-SALE-5...2-p-17154.html I usually get my order within 2-3 days. |

Perhaps he needs to pull his head from 'between the cheeks' CKRC sells BOTH the soft AND the medium compound rovers. As far as Customer service goes .... they've been one of the fastest services to ship to me, and I'm up in Canada. They usually get my stuff to me within 2.5 weeks max .... which considering the customs crossing is exceptionally fast for US to Can shipping. |

theres only two kinds of rovers,,if he has softer ones than ckrc or anyone else then he is lying about them being rovers or he is trying to sell knock offs and you should tell ckrc what he is saying,,i would anyway,,,just my $0.02 btw..id get the white dot rovers,,unless you have a terribly heavy rig |

I would go to either TCScrawlers or RPP Hobbies. Both have the best service and prices around IMO. I think they both have these on sale right now too! |

The dude at your LHS is a douche. I have read bad stories about CKRC but my experience with them has been great. I don't think you could go wrong from TCS, CKRC or RPP they all have great deals.

I know CKRC has had some bad transactions before, but just wanted to say that I was happy with my transaction from them. I ordered the Mamba Max Pro from them for $109.99 which was the best price I could find...shiped fast with no problems. If they have something you need, give them a chance...maybe they are re-focused on customer service. |

Scared me, man, when ya said they may not be the real deal! I have a full set on the way from CKRC, couldn't resist the price, so I'll soon know how good the service is. 22 bux for tires, 35 bux for shipping , that sux! Cheers. |

That's a slap in the face. Not only does shipping cost twice the tires, now the tires get cheaper too! And RPP's site won't even tell me the shipping. Cheers. |
