Default BFG Mud Terrain Tires (from BFG?)

Go to traxxas.com look at the new 4x4 slash. The tires actually have the T/A and the BFG logo..

Sorry if this is a repost.

Flat Irons are almost exactly the same things, except they don't have BFG written on the sidewall or have T/A in the side lugs.

I know, but I think I just found my scx scaler build. Having owned these in real life and having the mini version is just alittle cooler. Plus flatirons come with the truck so I will have both.

more shots

Yea the Traxxas ones look cool, dunno how good they'll perform though if you're gonna crawl with them lol. You could always mount them up for display purposes or when you just want to mess around with them.

Don't worry they paid BFG to use the name.

Not going to lie. These are probably going on the scaler. I don't even care how they hook up on the rocks, since it is a trail truck for the most place anyways. And, since I use them on my 1:1 I know they hook up pretty good on the rocks in real life, so I think they will be ok once softened up with some Simple Green. May not be the best tire combo only, but, it looks amazing and I want some.

darn...these tires are sweet...but if you look at the inner rim. they are like the slayer/slash tires..they are like 3's instead of 2.2's on the outside...i know they do that for racing and makes the tires fold over less in corners..but it makes the tires fold over less when your climbing....

good looking tire though..

They did that to clear the suspension on the Slayer. The early Slash has 2.2 wheels not the 2.2/3.0 they have now.

Because Traxxas doesn't make a crawler... let alone a solid axle.
