Default Vanquish Rim Problem

Ok so i want to start by saying i don't have a problem with the rims them selfs.

I placed an order with vanquish for the SWL 0.7" wide.

2 days later i emailed them asking to switch to 1". I got the responce saying the order has been changed. THis is good!

i got a package at my post office. i had to pay an extra 25$ in duty (why i do not know, these shoudl be covered under NAFTA)

i open the box and they shipped me the 0.7" wide rims.

i run the Rover whites on a bully rig. i have no idea the weight of the rig since its still under construction.

do i run the 0.7" rims? do i send em back pay a ton of shipping? do i try to strick a deal with Vanquish since technically they shipped me the wrong parts?

If you are dissatisfied with the order you recieved fell free to contact Vanquish and I guarentee that they will make it right. They have some of the best customer service you can get. I would look up their email address and explain the situation and they will handle the problem.

I have torn a Rover before will crawling and just put a little CA on the edges and pushed it together. The glue joint has never let go.As for duty there is none. I think all you would have paid is 5.00 dollar documentation fee and GST. But since you are in BC you would pay PST also. You did have it sent in the mail ?I will not let anyone send me anything from the US by courier. The all want brokerage fees and that is just criminal. The mail is just the 5.00 dollars and GST(No PST) in Alberta .

kraqa,

we have been running thin on labor this week as we are moving into a new building for Vanquish Products, Jenee' has been doing most of the orders by her self and she is running like crazy. so if a mistake was made we accept that just let us know what you would like to do and we will make it happen, Vanquish Products will be running better than ever with a new order management MRP software in a couple weeks, and will begin releasing some of our new products...

Hey Tom,

I didn't start the thread to bad mouth VP. i was just enlisting input to weather i shoudl run the .7's or the 1.0"

i've got the.7's mounted up and holes drilled in them. i originally ordered the .7's then switched to the 1.0. i was disapointed to receive the .7's but have kinda settled to the idea of running them. however i do not knwo if the down sides will show through of bad side hilling since my rig is still being built.

i will be doing a massive build thread once i get all my parts. all i'm waiting on now is a motor, BEC, revo ends and i'm good to go.

No specific outcome was to arise from this replay.

your products are amazing and i will not be looking elseware for parts as long as you are makign them.

I run .7 SLW's on all 4 corners. They are the best wheel I have ever ran. I love em. I say run em.
