Cool tire cutting pliers

i hate the painfull cutting with knifes

brazed 3 blades in U form and brazed them to an 10mm square rod
this is welded on old pliers
the other side gets a plate as anvil

i think i need no longer than 5 minutes for one tire

I think curved scissors or a dremel is the best tool for tread cutting work.

Clever. I used a small pair of angle cutters, and X-Acto knife, and a Dremel with various bits to cut my 1:18 Nylint tires. Took a lot of work to get the look I was going for, mainly because the Nylint tires are so small, it can be tough to get inetween the lugs.
