Default Making my Predator Crawler wheels look more scale

I bought these a few weeks back and I wanted to make them look a bit more scale.

IT's EASY !!!

Just take some lil m2 (I think) bolts and your cordless drill and slowly drive them in and they thread the hole as they go.

These are the lil bolts that come with your center caps on wheels like RC4WD's True Scale 1.9" beadlocks....so I think they're M2's....if not..they're close to that.

Anyways...on to the pics....the first 2 pics are before...and the last 4 are AFTER. I may turn the bolts around so that the studs protrude thru the front of the wheels and then add small m2 nuts to them to make them look even more realistic.

BEFORE

AFTER

Ummm...I know what wheel they're supposed to look like.

I didn't say....How to make Predator Crawlers into a perfect Walker Evans replica wheel....I said how to make my Predator Crawlers look more scale.

To me....the addition of center caps and wheel studs/bolts makes a wheel look more scale.

They're not exactly scale enough (sizewise) to allow for the addition of centers AND wheel studs/nuts with the amount of room that they left in the center. Even if I did...it wouldn't look right because the center caps would have to be about the same diameter as a toothpick !

Like I said....I know what wheels they're copying...but I think these look pretty cool like I've got them now.....plus I can change them back in about 15 seconds per wheel whenever I want to

ARON

I'm torn, because I have those same Walkers on my 1:1 Jeep. While I agree, you made them look less scale than the REAL Walkers, you made them look way more scale than they did before if you don't compare them to the real Walkers. I say, nice job!

Hit me up when you modify a set with 24 beadlock bolts and a 5 on 4.5 scale bolt pattern, I'd buy a set of those
