| Custom Wheels
Does anyone make custom wheels at a reasonable price? i have a TINY budget and would like a set of five 1.9 wheels. I think Eritex makes them, but i have pmed him and gotten no reply. any help is appreciated

like around $50 is what im thinking. i only wan the wheels to be made out of plastic, i don't care for aluminum. its cuz i want black 10 holed wheels. 1.9 size.

There is NO WAY you are going to convince a wheel maker to make a set for that price. Your best bet is to run a stock car wheel if you dont need a beadlock.

It's $65 for a standard set of Delrin wheels. It's not so much the material, but the cad/design work and the machine time. If you're looking for a "custom" set, you should be prepaired to drop at least $80 or so. $50 might get you a USED set of wheels (4). Having something done custom means programing the machine to do what you want, that ain't cheap. |

i think that i best stick to the stock axial wheels instead. at least they'll fit and cost a lot less! edit: after hitting that link, i realize that is the design and size i want. but $100 is way outa my league for wheels. my crawler kit wasn't even bought, it was a gift from my parents! |
