| New tires for my landcuiser cc01? Better than stock
Hey guys going to pick up my cc01 tommorow and first mod is tires..I think standard there 1.9 so I was thinking either flatirons m2 or roklox? I'll be driving on mostly loose dirt/sandy surface with the occasional muddy water run..no rocks etc..also has to look scale and not to tall as you know cc01 chassis don't like tall tires..that's why I'm leaning towards the flatirons..any tips thanks heaps

You know that the CC-01 doesn't like too tall tires, and the choices you narrowed it to is either Flat Irons (105mm OD) or RokLox (114mm OD) ? Got a question, why are these your only options? Ever looked at the RC4WD Dirt Grabber's? They have a 96mm OD and they grip very well in loose dirt/sandy surfaces and muddy waters. And best of all, they look very scale. Couple of friend's got these on their trucks and the performance on almost all surfaces are astounding. And if that aint small enough for you, check out the Dirt Grabber's in 1.55 size. They are only like 78mm OD and will give you the blimp look on a 1.9 rim. |

I run the 1.9 Flat Irons, and they work the best. I've tried the Losi rims and tires, the Tamiya rock cruisers, and the standard Pajero tires. Flat irons score 100% for all terrain...
