Default Best way to apply weights to Vanquish SSW rims?

I'm about to order a set of these Vanquish 2.2 SSZ-11 wheels and I'm trying to figure out the best way to add weight to them. Will be running them on a XR10.

New to this stuff so any advice will help (especially links to specific products).

Thanks!

Buy a different set of wheels.....

I know people do it but read the specs, VP says you shouldn't add weights for a reason.

It's your money so do what you want.

Uh, ok. These were recommended by Harley so I assumed they were a good way to go. Are these designed so that you don't need to add weight or are they just supposed to be for good looks/scalers?

ditto but for the SLW's. That is what kept me from buying some SLW's to run on all four corners.
No mention of not being able to add additional weight to the SSZ lineup.

Since there is no mention of it being an issue to add weight to the SSZ's. Just wrap the lead stick on weights around them, like 80% of the guys do that run alot of weight up fron on comp rigs. The other 20% of guys run purpose built wheels that directly take weights to be adjustable.

Shane, you are correct I was thinking the SLW's but the SSZ's have a single sided beadlock with a high strength plastic internal bead retainer ring so added weight would have to go on that ring and it may not work well.

I love the VP wheels, I just can't afford them right now.

I have set of those wheels also.I had a friend of mine make a inner ring out of steel. They sre 4oz each and are the same size as the stock plastic rings. Worked out great so I didnt have to change my foan tuning at all.
