Default Running smaller diameter tires up front...

In my area we have lots of steep hills and it's very difficult to get over them since most of the times the car leans backwards.
We do add lots of front weight but still the same.

So...say we used smaller diameter front tires...this would allow the front to sit closer to the rock and the rear to keep some distance thus placing the car in a more horizontal position.

Won't this work?

If the gearing is the same front and rear, by using larger diameter rear tires, they will turn faster and probably eliminate any advantage you would get. A lower truck and stiffer rear springs will help with steep climbs. Also, if you install a winch in front and hook it to your front axle, you can suck the front down for steep climbs.
