Default Properly "narrowing" tires

I already know how to narrow a tire (cut out the middle and glue back together) But couldnt you melt the 2 rubber pieces together? I mean it seems that it'd be stronger...

i guess you could do that. try it out and see how it works.

but, the tires will not come apart if properly glued with rubberized CA.

Maybe, but you'd burn the piss outta your hands trying. And the rubber gets super gummy cause you devulcanize it, so chances are it'd wear down and fall apart.

CA glue is tried and proven... I'd say go with it, but if you wanna be different, go for it! And report back ;)
