| RPM stablemaxx or Powerline aluminum rims
I was going to get a set of T/E-Maxx for the LST's that I am getting. I have found a set of Powerline aluminum rims that you can flip the center section for a negative or positive offset depending on how you set it for a really good price, but I can get a pair of the RPM's for $7.50. So, should I save the cash and do the RPM's or spend 4 times more for the aluminum, get a better offset for the links, and add some weight to the wheels for a better LCG? Just curious what ya'll would do. I am leaning toward the RPM's because of the money, but thought I would ask. |

bling is always nice. But are you going to get all pissed when you scratch the wheels? for a crawler Id say go with the rpms. I know Im not the only one that has built a car that I couldnt drive because I was afraid to scratch it. |

No, I am not going to worry about getting it all scratched up. I was also thinking about getting the RPM's and picking up some of the stick on lead for the lowend weight if I really need it. I do like the wheel spacing that the powerline rims would give me though. the bling factor is just a bonus. |

Everything is to bling for you. But remember, Bling doesn't bother me as long as they are functional. Why do you think I have a Chrome wheel, with Orange beadlock rings on a Blue Jeep? 8O Funtional !!! and was cheap to. Hell, do you think if I was into bling I would have taken out my bling clod to the last run??? |

But those wheels should be cool. I like the idea of using a heavier wheel for getting a lower cog. BB's are just plain messy and a pain to deal with. Ever try to remove bb's after it's been through sewage, water and wd40? Not pretty or good smelling.......... ......

And that is why I am thinking about getting the lead stick on weight instead of bb's
