Just bought some CAC 1.9 12 hole beadlocks. They're made of delrin so I'm assuming the beadlock screw holes are tapped (just like an aluminum wheel), so should I use thread locker (blue of course) on these wheels? Sorry for the idiot question. Couldn't find an answer and I've never had delrin wheels before, only aluminum and nylon plastic wheels. ![]() |

I have the 2.2 EZ Locs in Delrin and never needed thread loc. Not even on the screws for the hubs. Some plastics have a bad reaction to thread loc.

If you want to use a thread lock in plastic just use finger nail polish

I've used super glue on delrin parts when I have stripped the hole.....works well.

Thanks guys. Got them all mounted up and don't think I'll have a problem with them backing out.... ![]() |
