What are the pros and cons of hacking up the bogger. yes the look mean but is the bark as bad as the bite? Multie use basher mud , rock , trails . What u guys think?

I cut mine on my honcho, and like them much better.

zjguy721 04-05-2011 10:37 PM

I guess they would clear better, not sure what they would do on the rocks.

Those lugs are really large and likely stiffen the carcass of the tire, preventing it from conforming to uneven surfaces. Cutting/grooving them and remedy this. If I ran Boggers on a rock crawler, I'd do this for sure.

I was thinkin that it would help and look a lil better also.

This is how I cut my 2.2 boggers on my wraith and I was impressed. Helped a lot on the rocks.

I removed the smaller lugs on my 1.9's and they are my favorite 1.9's, much better than IROK's - rocks, soup, anywhere.

Must cut! I removed the little lugs on both 2.2 and 1.9 boggers. Much better & definitely worth it "thumbsup"

On real Boggers (1:1), you must cut if you want lateral traction. I vote for cutting them.

I got these in a trade and the small lugs were already cut, I spied them but only one cut in each lug. I haven't used them but they do feel much softer
