Default RC4WD Hummer wheel + proline tsl match????

Im having some very hard time mounting my proline super swampers on my rc4wd beadlock wheels they are not wery accomodating to me . Seems like the tire is to thick where it lies on the rim beacause the bolts arent long enough to pass thru the 3 pieces.

Have anyone tried this setup and got it to work and maybe have some good tip for me, or should i just forget it and purchase a set of rock locks instead

Hi Erik!
Figured it was going to be a problem mounting Prolines to those. You could try this method for mounting your tires: Link from RC4WD

Or you could turn your tires inside out and cut the bead all the way around, but it'll probably going to be a p.i.t.a. to cut them straight enough.

The RC4WD Military (Hummer) beadlocks in 1.9 actually hold Prolines without a problem. The wife runs Flatties on her Compscale truck, and I have had them on and off the rims a few times playing with foams, etc... However, to get the screws to reach, I had to make a jig with large washers and a screw/nut to clamp the wheel together to get the nuts started.
