Default pin to pin wheel widner

Is there a pin to pin wheel widener?
Or do you need to go pin to hex to pin?

I have an scx 10 and currently running 2.2 RC4WD steelies.

There is really no way to do that simply. You have to go to hex.

you might be able to fabricate a spacer ring that would fit in between the backside of the wheel and the pin drive adapter which would basically push the wheel outwards.

How are you going to get a wheel nut on then?

Thats what I did for my 1.9 steelies when I deeded more offset. I cut a 5/16 delrin spacer piece with a lil nipple so it still keyed into the small hole in the center of the wheel

You don't. You use a custom barrel nut

If you need a custom nut you might as well just buy the nice adapters.

That would have been awesome if they would have sold them when the wheels first came out. It worked when we didn't have any other option at the time
