Fist off, what kind of truck is it, how much does it weigh, what tires are you running and how wide are your wheels?

Are your wheels vented? They are great foams but like said above, every rig is different and likes different things so a bit of tuning to get them just right is all thats needed. Matt |

First of all, THANK YOU for your purchase and post New foams are going to be a little stiff and even bouncy until they break in. I recommend running at least 5 - 8 battery packs to break in the foams before tuning them. Never put in brand new foams and head out to a competition. I did that once and it cost me. The foams were bouncy and wouldn't stay on point / line. The foams definitely soften a little as they break in. I recommend venting your wheel, not the tire. Three 1/8 air holes drilled into your wheel is plenty. I also recommend, leaving the foams in the tires once you have them tuned for your crawler. Water is a foams worst enemy. It will soften, stretch, and break down the tire foams quickly. If you can keep them dry, they should last a season easily. A few questions that will help me give you advice, What is the width of the wheels you are using? How much does the crawler weigh RTR? Are the rovers stock or modified-siped-grooved? Which combination foams did you purchase? |

Drill holes in the wheels if they didnt come that way. Im with Nova, I dont care for vented tires. If you get into water with them just be sure to squeeze it all out before you put it up. I mark my fronts tires on the inside with a small silver sharpie dot to remember which is which, I also usually have them heavier than the back which makes it easier to tell as well. Matt |
