These tires have so much more traction than the Flat Irons that I can already tell I'm going to start breaking stuff. I can deal with the looks-like-5-psi sidewall bulge, but my complaint is that the stock foams don't provide nearly enough lateral sidewall support, which is a shame considering the tire will hold a line until it rolls onto the side wall, and only then will it slip. Because of this my beadlock rings take it rough. Anyone running the CI foams with these under a 6.25 pound rig? If so, what types? |

Just got mine mounted. My rig is a Wraith chassis with built ax10 axles. It weighs 8lbs flat with cms 4ws. Got a lil more hardware and extra weight with all that but the tires handle great for the 8lbs. |

Got mine the other day and really like them a lot. Had to mount them on my plastic Axial 8 shooters. Does anyone have the measurements to make the PVC inner rig mod for the Steelies?? That is what I really want to mount them on. I'll get pics up when I get home. Also I switched out the inner 2 stage foam for something stiffer, my rig is over 9lbs. Thanks Last edited by Jslick; 10-13-2011 at 08:23 AM. |

| Troubles with steelies/pitbulls 1.9
Hope some one can help me. Just bought my 1.9 pitbulls and I'm trying to mount them to RC4WD steelies. From what I've read their a bugger to mount cause they are soft, but that there are ways to do it. I really want to use these rims as they match up great scale for my truck. Thanks for any help.

These are my 1.9 Pitbull tires doing what they do best; EVERYTHING! This short climb gave some G6'ers fits, but the Rock Beasts made short work of it. Rocks? C'mon Man, rocks is in the name. Technical rocky sections are second nature. When the dirt turns "clear", there is no better wet tire on the market than the Pitbull Rock Beasts! Shhhhh, don't tell anyone, but MUD, is the Rock Beasts middle name.\ Do Work, Lil' Lexus. Sand in your eyes? You must be following a G-Ride laced with Pitbull Tires! Traction? Pitbulls climbing air! Sidewalls doin' work. If you run any other tire than Pitbulls and you see these tracks, STOP, turn around, because you won't make what is ahead of you! I love these tires and depending on your rig's weight, you will have to tune the foams, but after that, just buy the ticket and ride the Pitbull Tire phenomenon! You too, will be amazed at how well these tires work. -Parker |

i'm still runnin the stock ones. mostly because i dont have any other foams to fun, but also because i'm quite satisfied with them! if you find they are too soft for you then try plugging up the holes drilled in your rims and drill a tiny tiny hole. the air slowly escaping will give the illusion of firmer foams. |

At first, I really didn't care for the look. I like the look of the FlatIrons a lot better, but some reading a pics later I've decided I like the look. After reading just about everything here, I'm sold on these How wide are they? I just want to know compared to the stock FlatIrons I haven't been crawling due to no time, and a still-needing-paint body, but can't wait to get these tires Edit: N/m, the seem to be just a tad wider. Not too bad Last edited by Armistice; 10-26-2011 at 07:07 PM. |

Series Winning Pit Bull Rock Beasts These are the best tires that I have run. I overstuffed them and they are almost as tall as my Roc Lox and still have tons of bite! |
