Default Proline BFG Baja T/A KR2 mounted height?

Just wondering if anyone has these tires mounted with foams and can give me an actual measurement. They advertise as 4.71” tall but I’d like to know for sure as we are all aware of how specs can differ from real world measurements.

Thanks!

Ben

Carterfab measured them in his Bomber thread a while back. He has them at 4.8 mounted with 4.75 CI dual stage foams.

Thank you very much, I was hoping they’d be a bit smaller for my f100 ascender. That was the exact information I was looking for though. 👍👍

How tall are you looking for in a tire? I've got PRoLine's All Terrain T/A KR2s on my SC10GT in 1.9 size and they're within a blonde one of the same height as a standard short course tire(In fact this was a major selling point as I wouldn't need to adjust gearing or worry about rub). Much shorter than the Baja T/As, and I love them to death on this thing. They grip well, support the truck well on the stock foams, and surprisingly enough I don't have any issues with accelerated wear or ballooning despite using crawler tires on a 40MPH nitro SCT

I would say mine are exactly 120,5 mm on stock foams But it's a SSD wide wheel, so they might be slightly taller on a more narrow wheel.
.. a bit difficult to show on camera.. impossible, actually..
.. must mention I love these tires.

4.5” is pretty much my max tire size that I like the look of on my trucks. I probably will go with the all terrains but really just liked the “look” of the Baja tires. I refuse to have body rub and also refuse to hack fenders off so I’m kinda limited in tire size which I’m ok with. Thanks again guys, huge help!👍👍

Yah, the ATAs I have on my SC10 would be a good fit then. I can't really say what foams to use in them, though. I used the foams they came with, but again, I'm running mine on a nitro shortcourse truck which is worlds different regarding foams from a crawler.

Tire height can be changed depending on what foams are installed.

You can achieve a 4.36 tire height using cut down bomber kr2 tires to 1.9.
